Vita Nova Marie Antoinette"s three Kittens by Ceaser

This is the litter born july 5, 2008 out of Ceaser's second wife, the sweet Vita Nova Marie Antoniette, she's sired by GC Desmin's Drum Major of Vita Nova her dam Nattaja Valetta of Vita Nova, she and Cleo are sired both by Major.   Marie's mother has the Heida and Nattaja cats behind her, while Cleo has the Godfather and the two beautiful Whites, CH Constance Comment and GCH Charlie Chan.  Marie had three live kittens: the Twins Louie and Georgie both Exotic blue tabby vans, and their Persian tortie van sister Coco Chanel.  These kittens have beautiful high dome foreheads and sweet temperments, very outgoing.  The twin boys are with Starla in their new home, here in Queen Anne, with her decor they look like two french (pinky and) blue boys. 

CoCo their long hair sister lives here still, she is a little tigress, with her red and black stripes on head and tail, what a soul she is!  Always into every thing, this week she jumped into the pie crust as it was set on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator - of course the whole thing came down to the ground - that's a baby for you into everything!  CoCo is available.   I need some more current pictures but for now I'm catching up, with posting the baby pictures.  The kittens love these baskets from Ghana, Africa they actually flip them over, get underneath, and play bumper cars with them, or nap under them, their creativity with basket fun is endless.

Patti and I had this beautiful afternoon photographing kittens and later made the trek to Bellevue to have a very odd date indeed! Nephertiti with her paws on the basket edge.  This was summer 2008 and my little Hattie's Hat aka Angel to the left she's a red, silver tabby van, the first to open her eyes and she looked right at me. Her mother favored her and they had the closest relationship, for the longest time, she nursed the longest and Cleo indulged her and seemed very proud of her white silver hatted girl.   This kitten is for sale to a loving home she was born June 13, 2008 and is five months old, she's a frisky sweet girl. 206 380 0290 to inquire.

This is new years Day 2008, Cleo is the mother of  Nephertiti, Angel, Phillip, and Scion.  Phillip and Scion have gone on to their new home with Andy and Tonya, Nephertiti will be my show season hopeful and Angel is available to a loving home.  

Young Kings and Princes

Ceaser and son Phillip, watching the kittens grow up and studying cat family culture facinates and entertains me, I was amazed at how the Papa Ceaser smelled his newborn kittens and then his Queen Cleo, back and forth smelling until he seemed to decide that since the babies smelled like his lady cat he laied down beside the kitten basket where they were laying to be close and to protect.  he helped clean the kittens as they got older and the Mama cleo got more detached.

I'm beginning this blog to share my experience and insights about raising fancy cats for pet and show.  I aquired from Galina Dmitrieva three kittens, first came Ceaser and Cleopatra in the same crate, then in the spring came Marie Antoinette alone.  After settling in with the food and logistics of separation of the male and females to delay conception.  The budding fertility of spring eventually manifesting in two beautiful litters:  four for Cleo and three (live) for Marie.  

I plan to show the dilute calico, Callie, my pride and joy!  Angel, aka hattie's hat, her red silver tabby van sister is bunny soft and frisky as a young lioness is for sale to a loving pet home.  Marie's persian daughter Coco Chanel is a tortie van and darling with her long fringes and loving personality.
