5:30 a.m. Marie Antoinette births another boy!

Ceaser was causing a commotion bound and determined to get the glass doors open twice at 5 a.m. he succeeded and ran to the door of the Queens, and when i checked on Marie and Cleo: Marie was in the process of birthing a second son another silver tabby van male, twin colors.  One is shorter and seems to be long coat the first born I was talking to marie about how good she was and asked her what she wanted to name her kitten, then I tried to empty my mind, then I heard her in my mind say, Beau : Beauregard, Baudelaire, Bonaparte, Rimbaud...  The kittens and Marie Antoinette are doing great she's eating they are nursing, the sun is shining, it's Spring!

Yesterday when I brought Ceaser in to see his Queens I held him and he licked Marie's face and with Cleo he licked her face and front paws, what a sweet lover he is.  Marie went into labor yesterday the 14 of May and delivered a single kitten: a boy silver and white short coat van.  he was tired and out of breath. I used my tuning fork on his chest and his breathing immediately got deeper.  Marie is shedding profusely so I brushed her for hours as she purred and kneaded her way through birth.  Must go to work, more later - I'll try to get a photo up!

Coco Chanel got spayed

Coco is spayed so no more doves cooing!  I miss her sweet sounds... She was spayed at the West Seattle Animal Clinic, Dr. Josh Montgomery DVM was her surgeon, he and all the staff did a great job with her, she had her pain meds and was feeling good she never bothered her small scar, she had laser surgery and I think this is the best way to go.

  Now we all sleep through the night even Coco!

Vita Nova Marie Antoinette

Marie is due May 11-13, 2009.  She will produce both long and short coats.  Tabby,and Bi-color Vans, with possible colors of red, silver, blue, brown, white.  She carries the Desmin, Cotton Hill, Hedia, Vita Nova Cattery family lines.

Coco Chanel in heat

Coco is in heat and it's such a drama around here, she coos like a dove constantly, so not much sleep available.  I'm going to spay her this week and in a few weeks Coco will be available to a loving home - templeparlor@hotmail.com for more information.

Kittens in the Parlor

This is Patricia Ridenour's post birthday Dinner gathering, with friend Colette Rue, presents, Nefertiti at my feet, Cleopatra in the background, Lucy the dog in motion, and Ben's off to the right.  My beautiful kitten Nefertiti died a few weeks ago and I haven't been able to talk about it - it's so upsetting.  I gave her a bath and it seemed she had a anaphylactic shock reaction to a ear cleaning product - it was so fast, and so unreal.  

I miss her my big voluptuous Calico girl.
